How and why did we get started?

It all started with a simple invitation from a friend to join her for a soap-making class. I agreed, thinking it sounded like a fun and unique experience. At first, the idea of working with lye was a little intimidating—but once we got started, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the process. There was something deeply satisfying about turning simple ingredients into something beautiful and useful.

I began gathering supplies and experimenting with small batches at home. After dozens of recipes and lots of trial and error, my family and I found ourselves using every bar, taking notes on what we liked and what could be improved. Over time, we landed on a formula that we all genuinely loved.

As I refined the ingredients and adjusted the recipe to make it truly my own, we noticed how much better these handmade bars felt compared to the liquid body washes we’d always used. Before long, I had more soap than we could possibly use. We began sharing it with family and friends, and the feedback was incredible. People loved it—and soon, they were asking for more. Some asked if we had body butter, which quickly became a household favorite. However, summer temperatures made it tricky to offer it year-round, so we worked to convert it into a more stable, nourishing lotion that we now offer throughout every season. Other friends started asking about beard care, and that opened the door to a whole new line of products.

What began as a hobby quickly became a passion—and eventually, a small business built from the ground up. I love being able to choose exactly what goes into the products we use on our bodies. I love the creativity, the experimentation, and the joy of crafting something with my own hands. But most of all, I love sharing it with others.
